Designed by engineer Costantini and built in just 3 months in 1934, the Amos Maramotti summer camp is composed of three buildings set in staggered fashion on a diagonal to the coastline. This ensured an east- west orientation giving greater exposure to the sun in compliance with the health regulations set down for this sort of building.
