Rinaldo Piaggio Holiday Camp
Loc. Campomenoso (GE)
ARCHITECTS NAME: Luigi Carlo Daneri
CONSTRUCTION YEAR: 1938
SPACE TYPE: Holiday camp
PRESERVATION STATUS: Abandoned
Tags: colonia, healthcare, holiday camp, Italy, Totally Lost 2013
This building, completed in 1938, shows great qualities both from the construction and the architectural point of view: everything from the southern facade, fully openable on the ground floor, the finishings in concrete, the two-colored facade, the sun protection system on the southern side, show an inclination to avant-garde solutions.
At the moment, the works for the refurbishment of the structure are on hold.
