Factory “Krajan”
Ukraine, Odesa region, Odesa, Kosovskaya st. 2
SPACE TYPE: Factory
PRESERVATION STATUS: Ruin
Tags: factory, Totally Lost 2015, Ukraine
The “Krajan” factory was built in 1863 as a railway manufacturing plant and, under the Soviet regime, it was renamed “January railway manufacturing plant”.
In 1930, the factory was converted into a crane plant. Since then, the Soviet regime began to build new manufacturing plants in the area. Currently, all the buildings that were built between the 19th and mid-20th century are abandoned.
My pictures show parts of the factory, built during the Soviet regime.
