Monte Maggio Holiday Camp Sun therapy for up to 450 children

One of the mountain holiday camps for sun therapy built during the Fascist regime. The operational and distributional setup, the arrangement and brightness of spaces and the simple forms of the building show the typical features of Rationalism.

Opened in 1938, this structure could host up to 450 children on a 4.355 sqm area. After the camp was closed, the building was used for some time as a farm, and then as an holiday farm.

Today the building, still belonging to the Municipality, is abandoned.
