The holiday resort of the Hungarian Post was originally made for postmen, who could spend their holiday at the beautiful environment of the Római-part (Roman shore). It was built in 1972 and consisted in 5 floors, 55 rooms, two lunchrooms, an elevator and there were also a pool and a boat-house.
The looks and the structure of the building is very similar to many holiday centre at Lake Balaton, the primarily functional style became typical during the Kádár era. It is abandoned since 2006.
