House of Culture Cultural events and gatherings for the workers of the nearby Ikarus Factory

The very meaning of a house of culture was never its role. It symbolizes some past rituals which were our grandparent’s habit. Nowadays it seems these rituals have all gone, and only the skeleton remains. One can find these anywhere in the country, sometimes with some salt like an easter fair or a failed political gathering but most of the time they are abandoned. The once great Ikarus company had 10.000 workers before 90’s, but after the regime change it had been closed. Since then this factory stands there deserted and the house of culture serves nobody only memories of a habit we are about to forgot.
