Enormous German military area that was used as testing grounds for secret artillery weapons.
After WW2 these grounds were taken over by the Russians and it remained an important Army Combat Training Centre. There’s a strange Jewish cemetery on these grounds, former captives from the concentration camp Bergen- Belsen.
