It is a World War II memorial sculpture by Dušan Džamonja, located in Podgarić, Berek, Croatia.

One of the ex Yugoslavian monuments scattered through the country. It is a post World War II memorial sculpture designed to bear witness to the victories and loses of the war, and the rise of the partisan movement against Fascism. This one in particular is dedicated to the victory of the people, and it symbolizes the victory of life over death and defeat.

Part of the monument is an ossuary, holding the bones of fighters who died in the partisan hospitals. Now neglected but still sometimes visited.
