Underground station A ghostly underpass in Kőbánya

At the beginning of the 1970s, there was a plan to make an underground station in Kőbánya (10th district of Budapest) at Liget square. During the 1980s they built the station and the underpass system with different kind of services, and many blocks of flats around.

However, the construction of the subway line was finished before achieving this station, in 1990. It slowly started to deteriorate and the dark and empty underpass was closed in 2008.
